The "Keter Shem Tov" Conversion School
Consultations and Planning
Our rabbis and mentors conduct consultations to help you plan your wedding in accordance with Jewish traditions. We will explain all stages of the ceremony and answer any questions you may have.
Educational Courses
We offer educational courses that help you and your partner understand the significance of the Chuppah and other Jewish wedding traditions. These courses will help you prepare spiritually and emotionally for the important event.
Choosing the Chuppah
We assist you in selecting and preparing the chuppah for your ceremony. It can be a traditional chuppah or one designed with your personal preferences and family traditions in mind.
Kiddushin (Betrothal)
The ceremony begins with a blessing over wine and the exchange of rings. This stage symbolizes the betrothal and the commitments that the bride and groom make to each other.
Sheva Brachot (Seven Blessings)
During the ceremony under the chuppah, the rabbi or invited guests recite seven blessings that praise God and ask for blessings upon the new family.
Breaking the Glass
The ceremony concludes with the breaking of a glass, symbolizing the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and reminding us of the importance of family unity and faith.
