The learning process in Judaism includes attending classes, self-education, participating in Shabbat and holiday services at the synagogue, and active involvement in Jewish community life. In addition to prayers at the synagogue, there are home-based commandments, such as observing dietary laws (kashrut), participating in the Passover Seder, lighting candles for Shabbat and Hanukkah, and others.
